Katalis.app Omnichannel is an omnichannel customer service platform that enables businesses to manage customer communications across multiple channels from a single interface. The App integrates with Facebook and Instagram to allow businesses to receive, respond to, and manage direct messages from their customers through Facebook Messenger and Instagram Direct Messages within our unified platform.
3. Facebook Integration and Data Usage
3.1 Facebook Login
- When you log in with Facebook, we access only the permissions you explicitly grant
- We use Facebook Login solely for authentication and to access the data necessary for our service
- Your Facebook login credentials are never stored on our servers

For Business Clients (Page Administrators):
- Facebook/Instagram Page information and access tokens
- Page messaging permissions
- Basic business profile information
For End Customers (via their interactions with client businesses):
- Facebook/Instagram profile information (name, profile picture, user ID)
- Message content and conversation history
- Timestamp and delivery status of messages
- Basic public profile information necessary for customer service identification

For End Customers:
- Display your profile information to the business for customer identification
- Facilitate message delivery between you and the business
- Maintain conversation context and history for better customer service
- Enable businesses to provide personalized customer support
Data Storage and Customer Profiles:
- We securely store customer profile information to enable businesses to:
- Identify returning customers across conversations
- Access conversation history for context
- Provide personalized customer service
- Maintain customer service records as required by business needs

- Message data: Stored securely for customer service continuity and business analytics

- Not use the App for any unlawful or prohibited purpose
- Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
